“Spain’s King Juan Carlos Denies Allegations of Illegitimate Daughter”

Spain’s King Juan Carlos denies the claim of two journalists that he has an illegitimate daughter. “It is not true that he has a daughter,” the Spanish newspaper El Mundo is said to have told after reports about this.

The revelation about the existence of an alleged illegitimate daughter comes from an upcoming book about Juan Carlos, from which the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial has already published. The woman, named Alejandra, is said to have been born around 1980. She would only have discovered later in life that her father would be the king.

The 85-year-old Juan Carlos, who was King of Spain from 1975 to 2014, was in Spain again last week. The father of the current King Felipe has been living in Abu Dhabi since 2020. The emeritus king left there after he was discredited because of a lack of clarity about financial transactions.
