Spain recorded, in the last 24 hours, 849 deaths with the new coronavirus, a new record of deaths in a single day, bringing the total balance to 8,189, according to the latest update from health authorities.
The figures from the Spanish Ministry of Health also show an increase of 9,222 in the number of infected, a growth of new positive cases, after the 6,398 announced on Monday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has recorded a total of 94,417 cases of covid-19, of which 8,189 died and 19,259 were discharged and are considered cured.
