Possibly even warmer this week

Barcelona – It is very hot all over Spain. The mercury is expected to touch 44 degrees in various places on Thursday – Friday that could rise to 45.46 degrees and it may be a bit warmer over the weekend. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish heat record of 47.3 degrees – measured on July 13, 2017 near Córdoba – will be broken this week and whether even the brand new (as yet unofficial European) heat record of 48.8 degrees in Sicily will be exceeded.
