Spain Reaches 90% Vaccination Rate for 12+ Year Olds – Minister Carolina Darias

The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, pointed out this Monday in Guadalajara that Spain is getting closer to 90 percent of the population older than 12 years vaccinated with a first dose and 77 percent with the complete scheduleand has stressed that this “collective success” makes the country a global “reference.”

The minister has gone to the ‘Los Olmos’ residence to attend the inoculation of the third additional dose of the vaccine against covid-19 to residents, among them Araceli, the nonagenarian who received the first vaccine in Spain on December 27, 2020 and who has encouraged young people to “respect” the pandemic in addition to “thanking everyone for the sacrifice we are making.”
