Spain marginalizes Hispanics and concentrates its productive and investment “force” in Africa – 2024-09-01 18:51:49

The Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise of Spain, Carlos Bodyannounced this Wednesday, August 29, 2024, the Launch of the Africa Advances Alliancea project aimed at Promoting sustainable growth in Africa occidental.

Spain has openly expressed its interest in increasing opportunities for young Africans, especially those from Morocco, Cameroon and Senegal. The minister made this clear during his stay in that country, as part of the official visit of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to that country, as well as to Mauritania and Gambia.

The opposition to the government of socialist Pedro Sánchez openly expressed their rejection. For both the Popular Party and VOX, Spain is marginalizing Hispanics who are those who “most share our language, beliefs and customs,” said Santiago Abascal, leader of VOX.

This decision was also harshly criticised by Alberto Nuñez Feijóo, leader of the PP, who urged Sánchez to look for “a migration with which we have common interests.”

«The Alliance, together with the Senegalese Government, aims to establish a permanent framework for collaboration that will promote the greatest possible impact of transformative investments in the region. The objective is to identify and implement Investment projects of Spanish companies in sectors with high productive potential, job creation or innovation, such as telecommunications, finance, agriculture, tourism or infrastructure,” reported the Spanish newspaper SER.
