Spain exceeds 600,000 cases of coronavirus and 30,000 deaths | Society

He Ministry of Health has published this Tuesday the update of the figures of infections, hospitalizations and deaths due to coronavirus in Spain. Regarding this Monday’s report, the total number of people infected by COVID-19 has increased by 9,437, of which 3.022 correspond to those registered in the last 24 hours. A figure that already raises the total number of infections in the country above the 600.000 (specifically 603.167).

Following this Wednesday’s update, the official number of people who have lost their lives in Spain due to COVID-19 also exceeds an outstanding figure. With today’s data there are more than 30,000 dead (30,004). According to Health, in the last 7 days 303 people have died in our country and from yesterday to today the total number of deaths has increased by 156.

Currently There are 9,752 patients admitted for COVID-19 throughout Spain and 1,273 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 1,229 admissions and 1,035 registrations. The occupancy rate of beds occupied by coronavirus already stands at 8.5 percent.
