Nearly 78% of the entire population of Spain is already fully vaccinated, which allows the granting of measures
Spain successfully emerges from the fifth wave of Covid-19. As of today, the last restrictions are being removed in Madrid. This came after an infection rate of 58 cases per 100,000 inhabitants was registered in the country.
In the age group alone, there are still more than 100 cases per 100,000 population, but as the vaccination process progresses, health authorities are confident that they will control the disease. Nearly 78% of Spain’s entire population is now fully vaccinated, which allows the granting of the measures, BNR reported.
In Madrid, Regional Prime Minister Isabel Diaz Ayuso announced that bars, restaurants and discos from October 4 have no restrictions on their capacity and working hours.
Measures are also being relaxed in nursing homes, where physical contact between the elderly and their families will now be allowed.
The improving epidemic is the reason for the lifting of restrictions in all autonomous regions, so they, together with the central Ministry of Health, unanimously decided to allow clubs to sell tickets again for 100% of the capacity of football stadiums and 80% for basketball games.
