According to the Directory of Museums and Collections of Spain, there are more than 1,600 museum entities. 1,100 publicly owned, the rest private or mixed ownership.
According to UNESCO, the world has gone from 22,000 in 1975 to 95,000 today. Which leads us to think that so many people and entities are so reluctant and so negative when judging Teaching and Education and Culture, this is an enormously positive and demonstrative figure for humanity.
The first public museum in Spain, is the National Museum of Natural Sciencescreated in 1771 by Charles IIIwith name of Royal Cabinet of Natural History… -One cannot help but think that such a pioneering institution and entity in Spain and in the world, how is it that Spain has always lagged so far behind in science, that if true, all the causes would have to be analyzed…-.

What can I state as a conclusion? First, a part of the population has one or more museums less than three kilometers from their home, and they have never visited them. Second, an important part of the population has a museum less than thirty kilometers from their home, and they have never visited it. Third, I think and I fear that a part of the population has visited museums in other parts of the world, thousands of kilometers from their city, and perhaps has never gone to drink from the waters and step on the terraces of a museum. who is less than fifty kilometers from his home…
