Spain accumulates 75,010 deaths from Covid-19 | News

The Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare of Spain notified 590 new deaths from Covid-19 this Friday, with a cumulative of more than 75 thousand deaths registered by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The health institution reported 75,010 deaths since the virus broke into the country, and reported 7,586 new positives to Covid-19. The pandemic adds 42,992 more infections and 2,100 deaths in the last eight days.

The official balance reported 3,255,324 accumulated cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Spain. There are currently 7,679 patients admitted with SARS-CoV-2 throughout Spain and 1,830 are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

These data reflect a cumulative incidence of the disease at 14 days of 138.63 infected per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the 134.08 reported the day before. In Europe as of Friday, at least 42,283,065 people positive for Covid-19 have been notified.

Russia reports a total of 4,492,692 positives to Covid-19, followed by France with an accumulated total of 4,424,087 confirmed cases, later the United Kingdom with a total of 4,319,128 infections and Italy reported 3,464,543 people infected with the coronavirus since the disease began.
