SpaceX’s Latest Starlink Satellite Launch Mission Abruptly Canceled

SpaceX failed to send a new batch of Starlink satellites into orbit. The mission was canceled less than a minute before liftoff.

What is known

SpaceX has prepared everything for the launch of 54 Starlink v2 Mini spacecraft. For the first stage, this mission was supposed to be the 16th, which is a repeat of the record set the other day. However, for unknown reasons, the company stopped the countdown 40 seconds before the start. The reserve date is July 15th.

In May 2019, SpaceX launched Starlink satellites into orbit for the first time. In more than four years, the company has completed a total of 94 missions, and the Starlink constellation consists of more than 4,700 first and second generation spacecraft.

SpaceX is now using Falcon 9 rockets to send Starlink and Starlink v2 Mini satellites into space. In the future, the company intends to launch massive Starlink Gen 2 vehicles into orbit using the Starship rocket system.
