JAKARTA – Rocket SpaceX took off from Florida, United States, carrying an e-commerce tycoon and three others. The space manufacturer’s first civil flight for civil society.
The team of amateur astronauts is led by Jared Isaacman, founder of e-commerce Shift4 Payment. The other three are Sian Proctor (51), Hayley Arceneaux (29) and Chris Sembroski (42).
They selected Isaacman, through a competition, to fly on the Inspiration4 mission, which was conceived to raise awareness and support for pediatric cancer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The SpaceX Crew Dragon Resilience capsule was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida on Wednesday (15/9) in the afternoon, just before sunset.
SpaceX broadcast this flight, showing the four crew members in the cabin wearing spacesuits and helmets. The capsule reached Earth orbit at 20:03 local time, about 10 minutes after launch.

The rocket propeller or booster, after being separated from the spacecraft, returns down to earth and lands on the porch provided on the unmanned ship in the Atlantic ocean.
While at an altitude of 200 kilometers above the earth, Isaacman thanked the people who made this journey a reality.
“The door is open now and it’s really amazing,” said Isaacman, quoted by Antara, Friday (17/9/2021).
