SpaceX has sent a new team of 4 astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).
The US space shuttle and rocket manufacturer SpaceX launched the spacecraft that will carry the new team of astronauts, who will stay on the International Space Station for about 6 months, from the US National Aeronautics and Space Agency’s (NASA) Kennedy Space Center in Florida tonight.
‘Crew-3’ 4 astronauts, 3 Americans and 1 German, took part in the flight, which was named so.
EXPECTED TO REACH ISS WITHIN 24 HOURS
It was shared that 44-year-old Raja Chari, who is in NASA’s flight crew, is the fifth astronaut of Indian origin to go into space, and previously served as a pilot in the US Air Force.
NASA crews are expected to reach the ISS in about 24 hours with a capsule launched by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.

SpaceX’s capsule carrying four of NASA’s astronauts landed safely in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida on Monday.
It was reported that astronauts had to use diapers during the 8-hour landing journey due to the toilet problem in the capsule.
