Spacex sends more space tourists to the International Space Station

The space tourism company Axiom Space now announces that Spacex will have the opportunity to send space tourists to the International Space Station, ISS, also in 2023, reports Cnet.

Axiom Space and Spacex already had an agreement to send the Spacex Dragon capsule with three private individuals and the former Nasa astronaut Michael López-Alegría to the space station. The new agreement applies to a total of four crews.

All participants will receive commercial astronaut training from Nasa and Spacex, of which Spacex will contribute training for the Falcon 9 rocket and the Dragon space capsule. The first crew is scheduled to be postponed until January 2022 at the earliest. The price tag per ticket is said to be $ 55 million.

In 2019, Nasa said that the International Space Station was available for commercial operations.
