Latest News, International – SpaceX has once again postponed the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket, which carries several Starlink mini-satellites, due to bad weather, the company said on Sunday (24/7).
“Due to unfavorable weather, we are withdrawing from today’s Starlink Falcon 9 launch,” SpaceX said on Twitter.
On Wednesday, the launch was aborted at the five-second mark due to unspecified issues.
As reported by Sputnik Newsthe next launch opportunity is at 23:09 GMT on Sunday, said outlet Spaceflight Now.
Starlink is a satellite network designed to provide broadband internet access across the planet. SpaceX, owned by US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, has been managing the project since 2018. Currently, there are 4,200 Starlink satellites in Earth orbit.
