SpaceX and NASA Successfully Launch Crew-1 Mission Rocket to ISS: Okezone techno

AIRCRAFT space Dragon Crew SpaceX successfully glided by bringing four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). The four are NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker; and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi.

Also known as Crew-1, the flight marks Crew Dragon’s first operational mission by starting a new era of regular sending people to and from the ISS for NASA.

Quoted from The Verge, Monday (16/11/2020), Crew Dragon took off at 07.27 PM ET (07.27 WIB) aboard the Falcon 9 Rocket. The launch was carried out from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Crew-1 is expected to arrive at the ISS on Monday at 11 p.m. ET.

Elon Musk’s company previously launched two people into space in May in a trial phase of Crew Dragon which lasted only 64 days on the ISS. However, the actual launch took place today and carried four astronauts. They will stay on the ISS for 6 months.

This expedition will last until April 18, 2021 to increase occupancy at the ISS. The astronauts have the task of traveling in space to power a set of scientific instruments on the outside of the currently dormant station.
