SpaceX and NASA have announced a delay in the launch of their joint Crew-8 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Originally scheduled for February 28, the launch has now been pushed back to March 1. The mission will see four astronauts being sent to the ISS for a six-month stay.

The Odysseus moon lander is scheduled to land on the moon on February 22, which was SpaceX’s original launch date for the Crew-8 mission.
The Crew-8 mission will now take place on March 1, with liftoff set for 12:04 a.m. EST (0504 GMT). The astronauts will be launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The crew includes NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barrett, Jeannette Epps, and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin. They will be relieving the Crew-7 team, who arrived at the ISS on August 26.
