The Low Countries List was broadcast today from 9.00 am on the regional broadcasters L1, Omroep Brabant and Omroep Zeeland and the Flemish VRT. Until 4 p.m. it was possible to vote for the top 10 of the best Dutch songs. It was exciting until the end, but in the end it was again Kommil Foo who reached the first place.
Kris De Bruijne from Antwerp made a huge leap forward in the list. To be Amsterdam last year was in seventeenth place and thus rose no less than fifteen places. Pastoral was also in third place in the Low Countries list last year. Zoutelande from BLØF with Geike Arnaert fell three places, from seven to ten.
This year’s top 10 includes three Dutch songs, six Flemish songs and one joint song: Zoutelande. The list was presented in the Netherlands by Elsa van Hermon (Omroep Zeeland), Henk Hover (L1) and Maarten Kortlever (Omroep Brabant). At the VRT, the presentation was in the hands of Jan Hautekiet and Evert Venema.
