A group of space tourists from the International Space Station are on their way back to Earth. That reports the company Axiom Space, which carries out the mission. The trip to Earth was postponed several times because of the weather. The capsule is expected to land in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Florida before the end of the day.

On board are four space tourists, professional astronaut Michael López-Alegría and the paying passengers Larry Connor, Eytan Stibbe and Mark Pathy. They left Cape Canaveral on April 8 for the first completely private manned trip to the IS, organized by Axiom Space, which is now on its first mission.

On board, the four conducted a series of experiments in collaboration with research centers. The experiments focused on aging and heart health.

Several individual space tourists have already been on the ISS, but the so-called “Ax-1” mission is the first completely private crew.
