Sci-fi loot-shooter Space Punks will officially shut down later this year, developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Jagex have announced. As stated in a statement, the game no longer supports access to its in-game store or the Epic storefront, and then in two months, on November 6, 2023, the game will cease its live service as well.
With this closure in mind, anyone who made an in-game purchase is eligible for a refund.
Referring to the closure, the statement added: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news about Space Punks.
“Flying Wild Hog and Jagex regret to announce the discontinuation of support for Space Punks. This decision was made after careful consideration of market conditions and our goals and, while difficult, was deemed necessary.
“Our mission is to make games that stay close to the hearts of gamers over the years. We want to express our deep gratitude to everyone who joined us on our journey, from Early Access to Open Beta. Your feedback is invaluable.
