Space probe discovers water in Mars’ Grand Canyon: “Area as big as the Netherlands”

The space probe “Trace Gas Orbiter” has discovered a wetland the size of the Netherlands under the floor of the so-called Grand Canyon of Mars.

That makes the gorge – the largest in our solar system – a very interesting place to send reconnaissance missions in the future, according to delighted scientists. (VRTNWS)
