Space debris hits and damages the International Space Station.

Nationalgeographic.co.id—The inevitable has happened. A piece of trash space too small to be traced had hit and damaged a part Space Station Internasional (International Space Station/ISS). Part ISS the one that was damaged was the Canadarm2 robot arm.

The instrument can still operate. But the trash hit space it had penetrated the thermal blanket of the instrument and damaged its interior. This incident is a serious reminder that the garbage problem space in Earth’s low orbit is a time bomb that keeps ticking.

Bodies space the whole world is certainly aware of the waste problem space. More than 23,000 pieces of trash space being tracked in low Earth orbit to help satellites and ISS avoid the collision. All trash space being tracked is the size of a softball or larger.
