JAKARTA – Space Adventures has canceled plans to fly space tourists by flight
Crew Dragon . However, they did not rule out the possibility of reviewing the project in the future.
Quoted from SpaceNews, Sunday (10/24/2021), Space Adventures announced in February 2020 that it had signed a contract with SpaceX for the Crew Dragon mission for spaceflight.
The SpaceX spacecraft will carry four customers on board to go into an earth orbit twice as high as the ISS. Then stay there for five days before returning.

At the time of the announcement, Space Adventures project to fly the first space tourists between late 2021 and mid-2022.
However, the company did provide several updates on the mission’s status after the announcement. Including who has signed up for the flight and when the mission will launch.
Tom Shelley, president of Space Adventures, told Agence France-Presse during a recent visit to Moscow that his company is no longer pursuing missions.
“Ultimately our reservation with SpaceX ended and it’s not a mission we’ll be carrying out any time soon,” he said.
Meanwhile, company spokeswoman Stacey Tearne confirmed that the company has dropped plans for the mission.
