The tenth and final event of the World Championships this season was originally to host the Holmenkollen Stadium in Oslo, Norway, but the local government was against it. The International Biathlon Union thus moved the final portion of the race to Sweden.
This is the seventh country to host a World Cup or World Cup this season. At the beginning of March 2021, two SP companies took place in Nové Město na Moravě.
