On July 17, Sozopol celebrates the city’s holiday and honors its patron Saint Marina.
On this occasion, the Municipality of Sozopol has prepared a variety of cultural events for the residents and guests of the city, the culmination of which is the festive concert on July 17 at 8:30 p.m. on the stage of the summer theater.
However, the day will start with the traditional swimming marathon, the start of which will be given by the ship “Poseidon” personally by the mayor Tikhomir Yanakiev. The next day’s events are no less exciting.
On the occasion of the 186th anniversary of the birth of Vasil Levski, at 10:00 a.m. a bust-monument of the Apostle, made by the skillful hands of the honorary citizen of Sozopol, will be unveiled in the city.
The events are expected to be honored by many high-ranking guests and friends of Sozopol.
