Southern Norway, along with Britain’s, has had the highest electricity prices in Europe in recent days. This led to reactions on social media.

High prices are not a sign that there is little water in the large reservoirs of this particular part of the country. But the water there isn’t used to make cheap electricity. The Christmas room serves to increase the much discussed degree of filling.
