Southampton beats Brighton And Hove and remains in top positions

Souhampton beat Brighton And Hove today 2-1 as a visitor, at the close of the 11th day of the Premier League, and remained in the top five of the tournament.

Brighton, without the Argentine Alexis MacAllister who is recovering from coronavirus, took the lead with a penalty goal by German Pascal Gross (PT 26m) and Southampton turned it around with Danish Jannik Vestergaard (PT 45m) and English Danny Ings ( ST 36m, penalty).

Southampton, which had just lost to Manchester United, remains four points behind the leaders Tottenham and Liverpool.
