The final was tied 1-1 in regulation time and the winners were decided in a penalty shootout. Calicut University Physical Education Director Dr. Zakir Hussain presented the trophies. Malabar Polytechnic trained under the leadership of Mathil Shimnas, a sports teacher. In the semi-final match held in the university itself, Kuttipuram KMCT.
