Two military helicopters were sent to the region to evacuate the population blocked in mountainous areas. About 900 units of special vehicles and equipment were used to clear roads and evacuate people.
About 3 thousand people were evacuated. About 2 thousand cars were pulled out of snow drifts and ditches.
