The release of Baldur’s Gate 3 was a massive event. It was only a matter of time before the South Park crew took notice of Larian’s hit
In the special edition of South Park, there was a scene with a joke about Baldur’s Gate 3. However, the authors made a mistake that attracted the attention of the developers.
IN stage a character from another universe talks about a problem with Baldur’s Gate 3 saves – he’s already played 50 hours, and now he’s offering to start a new game. Asks the question: “Don’t saves transfer from one universe to another?».
To which the other character Stan reacted and said: “Saves don’t even transfer between PC and PlayStation 5, why did they have to transfer between multiple universes?».
This is where Larian came in and corrected error: “While Baldur’s Gate 3 saves can’t cross universe barriers, we can confirm that they do transfer between PC and PS5!».
