It is reported that the investigation began in October last year, and the investigation has recently ended. According to reports, usually performing arts planning companies are under the responsibility of the Seoul Department of Investigation No. 1 Bureau, but this time the investigation was conducted by the No. 4 Bureau. Therefore, it is not a regular tax investigation but an irregular tax investigation.
SM Entertainment underwent two tax investigations in 2009 and 2014. It is reported that in this investigation, the focus will be on the details of the stock changes related to Li Xiuman and the details of the stock changes represented by his nephew and the co-representative director of SM company Li Chengxiu.
