South Korean satellite captures “key image” proving Russia sent ships to transport troops from North Korea

South Korean media reported today (20th) that satellite images released by the National Intelligence Service captured images of Russian ships carrying North Korean special forces soldiers. The picture may have been taken by a satellite operated by the South Korean government, rather than a military satellite. Government sources said an extensive review of images and other data captured by South Korean satellites and foreign private companies confirmed that North Korean special forces had been sent to Russia.

According to “Yonhap News Agency”reportA South Korean satellite captured images related to Russian ships carrying North Korean special forces soldiers. South Korea’s National Intelligence Service released news materials and three satellite images on the 18th titled “Confirmation of North Korean Special Forces Participation in Russo-Ukrainian War.” Among them, the image “Activities related to Russian ships carrying North Korean troops” has no source, and the remaining two images “Military facilities located in Ussuriysk, Primorsky Krai” and ” military facilities located in Khabarovsk” identified by satellite imagery Imagery provider “AIRBUS”.

The report said a government source said the first unidentified photo was taken by a South Korean satellite. It is reported that the image captured Russian ships that were carrying out activities related to the transportation of North Korean soldiers at Chongjin Port on the 12th of this month.
