“South Korean President Promises Ukraine Aid and Equipment for Rebuilding After War”

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has promised Ukraine demining equipment and more aid. The promises were made during a meeting between the South Korean leader and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who was in Hiroshima for the G7 summit, DPA reported, citing the South Korean presidential office.

Seoul will provide Kiev and ambulances for the military. In addition, the South Korean president said that his country will carefully study a list of non-lethal military equipment requested by Zelensky, adds Reuters.

During the meeting Zelensky has thanked South Korea for its support. The two countries have also agreed to cooperate in rebuilding Ukraine after the war. South Korea stands behind the Ukrainians until peace is restored, Yoon told Zelensky.
