The final soccer match between Japan versus South Korea in Asian Games 2023 became a sharp duel between the two most fertile teams, Saturday (7/10).

The gold medal match will take place at the Huanglong Sports Center Stadium, Hangzhou starting at 20.00 Chinese time or 19.00 WIB. Before this match there was a duel between Uzbekistan versus Hong Kong.

Of the six 2023 Asian Games matches that have taken place, South Korea is the most fertile team. The team coached by Hwang Sun Hong collected 27 goals, 16 of which came in the group phase.

Meanwhile, Japan collected 16 goals. The Young Samurai Blue’s fertility was only created in the knock out phase. In the group stage match, Japan was not very sharp, namely only scoring three goals.

As the most fertile team during the tournament, before the final match, South Korean player Jeong Woo Yeong was the top scorer. This VfB Stuttgart player collected seven goals from six matches.

At the same time, there are no Japanese players on the top scorer list. No Japanese player is fertile alone, because three players both scored three goals.

Even though it is called the ideal final, South Korea is more favored. This is because South Korea is the defending champion in the sport of soccer. Korea won gold medals in the 2014 and 2018 editions.

In terms of defense, South Korea and Japan are both strong. They have both conceded just twice in the 2023 Asian Games. Therefore, it is believed that this match will be fierce.

In other matches, Uzbekistan was favored to win the bronze medal. This is because Uzbekistan beat Hong Kong twice in the group phase. It is believed that there will be no surprises.
