The Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) today revealed that in the past 24 hours South Korea has found an additional 1,046 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 58,725.

Of the newly diagnosed cases, 519 were in Seoul and 251 in Gyeonggi Province.
For an additional 16 cases of HIV infection coming from abroad, the total number of infections coming from abroad is 5,334.
Meanwhile, an additional 40 deaths have been reported, bringing the total to death from COVID-19. In South Korea it rose to 859 and the death rate stood at 1.46%.
The number of healed people increased by 1,435, bringing the total to 40,703, while the recovered rate was 69.31%.
