Fire broke out in Cyber ​​Building 1, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta this afternoon. Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that there was government data in the building.

“Indeed, this building is important because this is a cyber building where there is a server and important data on this server. In addition to government data, there is also important private data,” said Riza at the location, Thursday (2/12/2021).

“But thank God, it’s only the second floor of the 11th floor, the 2nd floor that burned, there was no extraordinary fire, but the smoke was extraordinary,” he continued.

Riza said that government data was not located on the second floor of Cyber ​​1 Building. On the second floor of Cyber ​​1 Building, there were data from private parties.

“Yes, thank God, there is no government data on the second floor. Indeed, in this building there is, but thank God nothing burned. So far it is safe. Indeed, there is data from private parties, but someone has already covered it,” said Riza.

Riza also said the Cyber ​​1 Building will continue to operate. It’s just that the second floor of the Cyber ​​1 Building is not operating.

“The building will continue to operate from tomorrow. Walk. Except for the 2nd floor where there is a fire,” explained Riza.

Previously, the fire occurred at Cyber ​​1 Building, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta (South Jakarta). The fire is thought to have occurred due to a short circuit.

“Short circuit,” said Head of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Helbert PL Gaol, at the fire site, Thursday (2/12/2021).

Helbert said the fire occurred in the server room on the 2nd floor of Cyber ​​Building 1. Helbert said the fire did not spread to other floors.

“2nd floor server room,” explained Helmert.

He said there were 22 fire engines and 140 personnel deployed to extinguish the fire.

“22 units and 140 people,” said Helmert.

Previously, a fire occurred at the Cyber ​​1 Building, which is located in Mampang, South Jakarta. Firefighters were at the scene to provide security.
