South Florida Woman Wins $ 4 Million Playing Mega Millions

A Sunrise resident became Florida’s latest millionaire after winning $ 4 million in the Florida Lottery Mega Millions draw.

In the draw on May 17, Grace Scott, 61, matched all five numbers, although not the Mega Millions number to win the prize.

Scott bought his ticket at a 7-Eleven store located on Glades Road in Boca Raton. The store will receive a $ 10,000 bonus for the sale of the winning ticket.

The Mega Millions draw on Friday 14th October has an estimated jackpot of $ 494 million. The lucky one who wins it can receive the cash in one payment of nearly $ 249 million.

Mega Millions draws are played on Tuesdays and Fridays and tickets cost $ 2. The chances of winning the jackpot are one in 303 million.
