South Florida hospitals welcome first babies of 2023 – NBC Miami (51)

As the world was busy ringing in the New Year, hospitals in South Florida welcomed the first babies of 2023.

Broward Health Coral Springs welcomed its first baby at exactly midnight. Liaxandra Dolne, a 5 lb 13 oz girl, was born at the medical center at 12. Her parents, Judith Dolne and Exechiel Almeda, of North Lauderdale were thrilled to welcome her into their family.

Baptist Health South Florida announced its first baby of 2023, a boy named Dimas who was born at Baptist Health Homestead Hospital at 12:05 a.m., weighs 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and is 20 3/4 inches tall.

Meanwhile, Talia Noah was born at Memorial Regional Hospital at 12:34 am, to the delight of her parents Sharon Cohen and Adam Noah. The little girl weighed 7 pounds, 8 1/2 ounces and was 20.67 inches tall.

Liam, born at 3:05am at Memorial Hospital West, is the son of Shiraz Sanker and Alexander Poliakov. The baby weighed 7 pounds 3.5 ounces and stood 18.9 inches tall.
