Waiting for results from the Lübbeck hospital
On January 8th, there was a sharp increase in corona cases in a hospital in Lübbecke (Minden-Lübbecke district). There, seven employees and 16 patients were infected with the corona virus in an internal medicine ward.
Because the virus spread so quickly, experts suspected that it could be the British mutation of the corona virus. Corresponding samples were brought to the Charité in Berlin for analysis. The results are expected this week.
