This year’s National Basketball Association (NBA) drafts one of the greatest talents James Waisman does not want to fall under Minnesota’s Timberwolves, reports ESPN journalist Brian Windhorst.
Timberwolves is the first choice this year, but the 19-year-old Vaismens Center is rated as the TOP 5 talent in the draft.
“Fruit doesn’t want to go to the Timberwolves because Carl Anthony Tauns is already on the team,” the podcast said. “Scoop” said Windhorst. “As far as I’ve heard, Vaisman doesn’t even want to think about such an idea.”
The Timberwolves team wouldn’t really be the best option for Waisman, because then he would be guaranteed to be a reserve, behind the star of the largest unit, Towns. This would mean less playing time than, for example, in the Golden State Warriors, where the basketball player could theoretically be a regular player, given that the owner of the second draft choice does not have a strong center.
Doubts whether Minnesota is considering Waisman’s drafting at all, given that it can choose a peaceful heart between defenders such as Anthony Edwards or Kilian Heys, or strikers Dan Avdi or Obi Topin, who would fit much better in Minnesota’s lineup.
It is also possible that Timberwolves’ tempting first choice could be exchanged for an experienced NBA star.
