A source in French Saint-Etienne confirmed that the club’s offer to sign Zamalek striker Mostafa Mohamed differs from the Turkish Galatasaray, indicating that he does not trust the player’s abilities 100%.
The source – who declined to be named – said in Laila Kora’s statements: “We know that the Galatasaray coach has a desire to include Mustafa Muhammad, but the problem is that they want him on loan with a purchase option and not in a final way like us.”
He added, “Galatasaray’s desire to borrow Mustafa Muhammad with the option to buy means that they do not trust the player 100%, and the club has not paid the salaries of the players for two months.”
The source concluded, “Mustafa Muhammad does not want to play in the Turkish league.”
It is reported that Galatasaray coach Fateh Tarim announced yesterday his desire to sign with Mustafa Mohamed, saying: “I have clearly said that I want Muhammad, let me examine this matter, I am talking about Mustafa Muhammad who plays in Egypt.”
