The sound engineer of the series “Real Boys” Valentin Ushakov died during a special military operation. This is reported by the Mari community on the social network “Region 12”.
He volunteered for the special operation, despite the persuasion of his relatives, in September of this year. It soon became known that he was missing. And in October information appeared that Valentin Ushakov had died.
It is clarified that he was seriously injured in his legs due to a grenade that was dropped from a drone. Military orderlies from Chuvashia tried to provide assistance. The wounded man was loaded onto a stretcher and transport began. However, a re-dropped grenade “killed everyone.”
Valentin Ushakov, a native of the village of Kuzhmara, Zvenigovsky district, Mari El, was buried in his homeland. He left behind a 14-year-old son.
Valentin Ushakov was 44 years old. The final episode of the series “Real Boys” was dedicated to him, where the inscription “Dedicated to Valentin Ushakov” appeared in the closing credits. In addition to this series, he worked with the film crews of the series “Daddy’s Daughters”, the films “Viva, Castro!” and “Cook”.
