Already after the autumn, he led 256 points ahead of his club teammate from West Ham Vladimír Coufal, in the spring vote, which of course also reflected the performance of the Czech national team at the European Championship and advancement to the quarterfinals, he repeated the championship. For a change, with the difference that the second ended by 62 points behind him Patrik Schick, who scored five goals in EURO.
“Souček took a huge amount of work at the European Championships, even though it was not reflected in his productivity as we are used to,” said national team coach Jaroslav Šilhavý when evaluating the championship at Souček, the national team captain has been permanent since the autumn.

He finished seventh overall. The opposite was Tomáš Holeš from Prague’s Slavia, who replaced the King in the basic line-up at the European Championships. In the autumn he took 28th place, but in the spring he placed fourth. He finished ninth in the overall standings.
Holeš also became the “Jumper of the Year”, as he did not get a point in the poll a year ago. At the same time, he is the highest-ranked player of the championship Slavia. Three places ahead of Holeš, the Spartan forward Adam Hložek finished in sixth position as the best player in the Czech league.
