SOS public housing, squatters in Acer accommodation in Salerno

The task force of anti-illegal checks in public housing implemented by theHome Office of the Municipality of Salerno: the checks have now been extended to properties owned by theAcerl’Campania agency for residential construction. In recent months, in fact, inspections, evictions and subsequent reassignments have been aimed at apartments owned by the municipality, but now, however, squatters from three different properties have been discovered in Acer homes.

The anomaly

The first case concerns a public residential building Piazza San MartinoIn the Santa Margherita district. In this case, the person to whom the council house is registered failed to pay a number of monthly payments for more than six months, as well as it emerging that the lady assigned to it did not occupy it permanently. THE’article 27 of the regional regulation in this regard, in fact, it provides for the forfeiture of the assignment in the event that the family unit does not live permanently in the accommodation. Once the situation has been defined, the former assignees have one month to leave the house. The second case, however, concerns an apartment in via Giacomo Racioppia Pastenawhere the lack of title for the occupation of the apartment was detected.
