Since its appearance in Indonesia, Suzuki Jimny the new generation is always an interesting discussion. It’s not just a matter of design and features that attracts attention, but also because of a prolonged pivot.
“Alhamdulillah, it’s long, several large dealerships with good locations, such as Kelapa Gading area, Pondok Indah, have longer pivoting time than more regular dealers, dealers in smaller cities, about five years and over,” said 4W Marketing Director of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), Dony Saputra some time ago.
Dony said, SIS itself has stopped accepting Jimny’s orders since September 1, 2019. Because it is limited to the monthly shipping quota. Some time ago, Suzuki was only able to distribute 50 units of Jimny per month.
“Actually, from September last year, we had closed the tap for additional pivoting again, until now the Vehicle Order Letter (SPK) has not yet been opened,” added Dony.
Suzuki will open the production tap Jimny in India. It is planned that this Japanese manufacturer will produce the three-door model currently marketed at the Gurgaon India factory.
“As long as the information is not from the Japanese Suzuki Corporation, we cannot confirm the truth,” added Dony.
