Sorry, Instagram is back – Marseille News

Go post a picture of a pumpkin or something

For the second time this week, Facebook experienced an outage. While none of the current issues have been as widespread as what happened on Monday, some of its services – Instagram in particular – have received thousands of reports of slowdowns and connection issues. Fortunately, everything is resolved.

According to DownDetector, Instagram started having issues around 2:30 p.m. ET, particularly connection and slowness issues within the app. Most of us at AP can still upload new articles and stories, although it definitely seems a lot slower than usual.

It’s not the only Facebook-owned service experiencing issues. WhatsApp and Facebook itself have seen an increase in reports of online outages, although nothing compared to the tens of thousands of complaints Instagram received. Oculus, meanwhile, doesn’t seem to be affected by any issues.

Unsurprisingly, other social media channels are inundated with jokes about a possible second Facebook outage after Monday’s complete shutdown. This one doesn’t seem to be that harsh, thankfully. Hopefully, it won’t be long before these headaches are resolved.

Everything is fixed

You must be feeling everyone in IT on Instagram right now – it’s been a tough week. Fortunately, everything was restored with the app, and this outage only lasted a few hours in total.

Hopefully, this is the last Instagram outage we’ve been hearing about in quite some time.
