“Sorry, but it was too good to be true”: mixed reactions to Pukkelpop cancellation

The company Stageco from Tildonk has been building almost all stages for Pukkelpop for years. Work was to start next week. “Very unfortunate, but an understandable decision by the organization,” says Tom Bilsen of Stageco. “After Tomorrowland, it is now Pukkelpop’s turn and there are also festivals in our neighboring countries with the same scenario. And just like in 2020, we are again running into a mega loss.”
