The Sormati company is renowned throughout the Great South-West in the wine industry, “from Cahors to Irouléguy and Bordeaux”.
–It is essential in after-sales service and repair. This is what makes its strength. A breakdown service at 8 o’clock in the evening or on weekends, that does not scare him. Certainly, Sormati sells the entire range of wine-making equipment, but it is above all the availability of its technicians that has attached its customers to it.
This family business was created in 1973 by Jean Capdepont. He passed it on to his daughter Marie-Hélène, wife of Saint-Marc, and to her husband Patrick, in 1996. They are the ones who set their sights on troubleshooting and manufacturing tailor-made stainless steel vats.
They are now leaving the company, but making sure their staff stay. They leave, but make a connection with the company Liatech, directed by Philippe Vincent. A company whose head office is in Égly (Essonne), but which has an establishment in Éauze. This merger is looking good, since Liatech is also a family business, determined to remain “on a human scale”.
Liatech, created in 1991, is specialized in filtration, conditioning and liquid processes. It sells and installs filtration equipment, syrupery, alcoholic maceration, turnkey brewery as well as wine-making equipment, etc. It has several establishments in France.
Its reputation is illustrated by the gold medal won at Sitevi in 2013 for its tangential filter with rotating ceramic discs Dynamos.
Together, the two structures are now able to provide their customers with a technical offer and a wide range of skills.
