The contract allows for the expansion of passenger terminals and airport parking facilities.
The total eligible value of the project is 303 million lei, of which 257 million lei (85%) represent a contribution from ERDF funds, 39 million lei represent contributions3 from the State Budget (13%) and 6 million lei represent the contribution beneficiary, supported from the budget of RA Iasi Airport.
These amounts will be used to build a new passenger terminal and reconfigure the airport’s access road network and parking spaces.
The new passenger terminal will have an area of 31,210 square meters. The surface of the access roads, which will be reconfigured, will reach 21,850 sqm.
Parking spaces will be built on an area of 4,600 square meters. The roads and technological platforms that will be built will occupy an area of 5,620 square meters. Sidewalks will be built on an area of 7,550 square meters.
The project must be implemented by December 2023.
