The CIMA Chihuahua AC Foundation will be able to benefit women fighting breast cancer thanks to the solidarity of the people of Chihuahua. Through exchange donations made by Soriana store customers, $348,330.40 was raised that will be allocated to this cause.
Fundación CIMA Chihuahua AC reported that, during October, Soriana managed to raise this amount within the framework of its campaign for the Month to Fight Breast Cancer.
This year, 35 Soriana branches participated throughout the entity, and the town with the highest number of participants was Camargo, where 70.4% of customers donated their change to the campaign.

For its part, the Sendero Las Torres branch in Ciudad Juárez was the one that gathered the largest amount of resources, with more than 37 thousand pesos in donations from its clients.
To deliver the proceeds, an event was held in which Soriana clients and employees participated, who presented a symbolic check to Fundación CIMA Chihuahua, thus demonstrating that “together we can make a difference.”
It is worth mentioning that, since 2012, Soriana and Fundación CIMA have collaborated in the fight against cancer in Chihuahua, and thanks to this alliance, many families have passed this test. According to the information provided, six Chihuahuans die every hour from cancer; However, with access to timely and adequate treatment, at least four of them could be saved.
