Soprano: “Big thigh”, the singer expresses his deep dismay

Will Parisians have the chance to see Soprano in concert this summer? Nothing is less sure ! The singer has indeed announced to his fans that his concert on July 2 at the Stade de France was compromised due to the work of Greater Paris. A real “mass blow” as the restrictions linked to the pandemic have finally been lifted.

He was expected on July 2 at the Stade de France, but it seems that not everything is going as planned… Soprano announced bad news in the daily La Provence, Sunday March 6. The former member of Psy 4 de la Rime had just learned that his concert in Saint-Denis could be canceled. And for once, it’s not the fault of the Covid-19!

It would indeed seem that the numerous works in progress, linked to Greater Paris and the Olympic Games which will take place in Paris in 2024, prevent any demonstration at the Stade de France. A news that horrified Soprano. He said: “We received a blow for the Stade de France. There is work all around for the Olympics, on the metro line, and we were told that the concert should perhaps be stopped” .

And it’s not just about the music. “It also concerns the Games. We told them that it was not possible, it’s the concert of a lifetime! We only needed that after the concerns linked to the Covid”, he explained. , disappointed, as health restrictions have just been lifted after two difficult years.

The singer, however, was not given up and tried to find a solution, even if there was not much he could do at the moment. “It’s not resolved. It’s not the Stade de France, it’s the management of the works around it. We are waiting for them to find solutions. We will know in the coming weeks”.

For the singer, all is not lost. He said he was “focused and excited” to see his fans back on stage. “When I walk in the street, the people I meet say to me: ‘We’ll see you at the stadium’! It’s adrenaline”, regularly explains the Marseillais, who had already filled the Vélodrome several times, the stadium of the Marseille city, and who had qualified this experience as one of the strongest of his life.

His tour (which was to end at the Stade de France) will also make two stops there on June 18 and 19, 2022, two dates which should quickly sell out!
